Who We Are
The Australian Genome Foundry is an open access national synthetic biology facility at Macquarie University. We partner with academics, government, industry and startups to pioneer innovative solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems — accelerating the journey from idea through to proof of principle.
What We Do
Our PC2-certified laboratory combines advanced robotics with expert support to engineer microbes at scale. We offer automated molecular biology workflows, high-throughput fermentation systems, advanced analytical chemistry platforms, and flow cytometry and sorting tools — enabling rapid strain design, building, and testing all under one roof.
